OZ.1i – Tour Shape with Insert Precision
The half-moon-shaped OZ.1i is the first Lie Angle Balanced putter from LAB Golf to feature a true tour-inspired profile. Unlike the brand’s other mallet designs, the OZ.1i utilizes a solid-body construction and is carefully tuned to deliver a more traditional sound and feel at impact.
The OZ.1 and OZ.1i share the exact same size and shape. The difference lies in the insert—making the OZ.1i the first L.A.B. model to incorporate face insert technology. The stainless steel insert produces a firmer feel, faster ball speeds, and a more responsive sound compared to the standard OZ.1.
Most importantly, the OZ.1i retains the exceptional forgiveness and stability L.A.B. mallets are known for, delivering performance comparable to the popular DF3 and MEZZ.1 MAX models.
Press Grip Technology
Every putter from L.A.B. Golf comes equipped with proprietary Press Grips. Many of the world’s best players utilize a forward press to promote quicker forward roll, reduce skidding, and minimize backspin.
Because positioning the hands ahead of the ball can be difficult to repeat consistently, Press Grips are engineered to build forward shaft lean directly into the grip design—removing another variable from the putting stroke and encouraging greater consistency.
